High Speed Firewire Monochrome Video Camera

The High Speed Firewire Monochrome Video Camera (VID-CAM-MONO-2A) images at up to 100 frames per second at full resolution (640 x 480). Even higher frame rates are possible at reduced scan areas. For example, at a resolution of 290 x 250, frame rates of up to 250 frames per second can be achieved.

The camera can be used for both visible light and Near Infrared recording. For continuous recording under day/night conditions, the optional VID-LEN-NIR-1 filter should be used in conjunction with our near infrared lighting accessories. The VID-LEN-NIR-1 filter blocks over 99.9% of light under 800 nm! Thus, the filter can be used to block out day (visible) light, while allowing the NIR light to pass through to the camera and be used for imaging under constant illumination conditions.
