Single Speed Safety Syringe Pump
Standard Speed 3.33 RPM :: Protection from Output and Computer Failure

The Safety Syringe Pump, PHM-108, has been provided as an alternate to the PHM-100 Syringe Pump to provide extra safety from an overdose. The input circuit allows the user to select the maximum dose time from 1 to 99 seconds. In addition the output circuit has two redundant on control circuits to compensate for a failure. The standard rate is 3.33 RPM, but other motors are available and can be changed by the user.

The PHM-108 pump is activated by a MED-PC ^® 28 volt output and turned on as long as the output is on. Thus the time on determines the dose. A safety stop switch disconnects power from the motor when the end of the syringe has been reached.

Infusion Rates
The PHM-108 can amlommodate plastic or glass syringes ranging from a 50ml syringe to a microliter syringe. Listed below are the stock motors and their corresponding flow rates for a Multifit syringe. Other motor speeds may be specially ordered. To determine flow rates with other syringes, a calibration sheet is included with every pump.
