IMPORTANT NOTICE
These products are designed to be used while under the supervision of a research scientist in an experimental application. At no time
should they be used in a medical treatment protocol, relied upon in a life support function used to inform or alert medical personnel
concerning the condition of a patient, or used to make a diagnosis or decision concerning medical treatment.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Med Associates Inc. (Med) warrants the products bearing its name & trademark against all defects in material, workmanship &
performance to the original using purchaser for a period of five (5) years from the date of shipment by Med. Med warrants that its
products will meet the electronic & mechanical specification stated in Med's catalog. Although the specifications in the catalog are
subject to change without notice, Med at its opinion will repair or replace a product that is found to be defective during the warranty
period. Defective merchandise must be received at Med Associates Inc., Georgia Regional Industrial Park, 166 Industrial Park Road,
Fairfax, VT 05454, no more than sixty-one (61) months from the date of original shipment by Med. All shipments must include a Return
Authorization Number (RMA#), obtainable from Med's Vermont office (802) 527-2343 & must be sent freight prepaid by the sender.
Med holds the right to charge a 15% restocking fee on items purchased & returned due to any circumstances other than a malfunction.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY
This warranty is nontransferable. This warranty does not apply to any defects or damages resulting from alteration, modification, neglect, misuse, usage of an improper power source, damage in transportation, abuse, or any cause other than the normal use of the equipment. This warranty does not apply to products resold by Med that are manufactured by other companies. No warranty or claim is made by Med regarding the efficacy of any product for any particular application. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
Except for the limited warranty stated above, Med disclaims any and all other warranties, express or implied, oral or written, including any implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
In no event, shall Med be liable for any damages whatsoever arising out of the use of its products, including without limitation any direct, incidental or consequential damages, any damages for loss of profit, business interruption, loss of information or any pecuniary loss even if Med has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. To the best knowledge of Med Associates Inc., the specifications, descriptions and photos of the material contained herein are accurate as the date of printing (11/2005). Med Associates Inc. reserves the right without prior notice to discontinue at any time, at its discretion any of the parts and accessories depicted herein or change specifications or designs or prices without incurring obligation to the customer.
