This tabletop interface cabinet is the most popular cabinet for labs that will not exceed more than eight test chambers and do not require optional modules such as the programmable audio generator (ANL-926). It is the most compact and least expensive unit available. It provides the equivalent of an interface cabinet (SG-6080C) and a power supply (SG-502).

This interface cabinet is the largest available with the capacity and power to support up to sixteen chambers running on SmartCtrl™ modules or eight SmartCtrl™ modules with eight programmable audio generators (ANL-926). This unit combines the 28 V DC power supply with the other supplies in one convenient tabletop enclosure. Connections to the 28 V DC supply in this unit are made from convenient two-pin polarized Molex® connectors on the front panel.

This rack mount chassis contains seventeen individual slots. It is mainly used with interface components that do not require 28 V, such as audio generators (ANL-926), programmable shock source (ENV-413), or shocker/scramblers (ENV-414, ENV-410B, ENV-412). This cabinet may also be used with SmartCtrl,™ Superport™ or Standard input/output cards. When used with any of these interface cards that require 28 V, a separate power supply will need to be purchased.

SG-6500
Single Rack Mount Enclosure

This heavy duty blue metal enclosure will house any single rack mount chassis with Med Associates interface, physiological, aversive stimulation, audio, or special purpose modules, or a rack mount 28 V DC power supply. It improves the appearance of any lab while protecting the ventilated rack mount chassis. It elevates the module front panel for easier monitoring of front panel controls, meters, connectors, and LED indicators.
