Pigeon Key with Three Color Display

This pigeon key with three color display is mounted on a 3/8 size rat modular panel and contains a 1.0" (2.5 cm) opening. This key also features a beveled plastic ring to protect the bird’s beak. Displacement of the 0.875" (2.2 cm) target area is factory set to approximately 0.063" (0.2 cm). The tension of the normally closed contact is factory set between 12 and 15 grams of pressure. Covering the key is a metal enclosure that houses a pair of red, green, and white stimulus lamps to back light the target area.

Pigeon Key with Multicolor Display

This pigeon key with multicolor display is mounted on a 3/8 size rat modular panel and contains 1.0" (2.5 cm) opening. This key also features a beveled plastic ring to protect the bird’s beak. The color display is created from a matrix of 24 plug-in lamps on a single printed circuit board with a possibility
of twelve independent stimulus pairs. Lens caps are provided in the following standard colors: red, green, white, blue, orange, and yellow. Variations in color may be produced by turning on two colors at the same time. Tension of the normally closed contact is factory set to between 12 and 15 grams of pressure.

Pigeon Key with 12 Stimulus Projector

Again, this unit includes the basic pecking key (ENV-123AM). In this unit a twelve cell, in-line projector replaces the stimulus lights. This projector provides for seven shapes (triangle, circle, square, cross, vertical bar, horizontal bar, and plus sign), and five colors (red, green, blue, yellow, white). This image size is 0.31" (7.9 mm) across.

These pigeon keys do not have any stimulus provision. The entire unit is mounted on a 3/8 size rat modular panel. The opaque key (shown) uses the same white plastic key as the pigeon key with display (ENV-123AM or ENV-124AM), or the clear key (ENV-125M). Both keys use a 1.0" (2.5 cm) opening with a 0.875" (2.2 cm) target area. Tension of the normally closed contact is factory set to between 12 and 15 grams of pressure.

Clear Pigeon Key

This clear pigeon key has an oversized 2.0" (5.1 cm) diameter key designed for those wishing to place a rear projection screen, computer monitor, or other display device behind the key. The key is mounted into a 1/2 size rat modular panel. This unit features both tension and travel adjustments as well as dual normally closed contacts to guarantee that the large surface area would not in any way reduce sensitivity or performance.
