Pigeon Keys

The 1.0" (2.5 cm) opening for this key features a beveled plastic ring to protect the bird's beak. Displacement of the 0.875" (2.2 cm) target area is adjustable and factory set to approximately 0.063" (1.6 mm). The sensitivity or tension of the normally closed contact is also adjustable and factory set to between 12 and 15 grams of pressure. Travel and tension adjustments may be changed by the user. Covering the key is a metal enclosure that houses a pair of red, green, and white stimulus lamps to back light the target area. The entire unit is mounted on a 3/8 size modular panel.

The key portion of this device is again identical to the ENV-123AX and ENV-123AM. The color display, however, is created from a matrix of 24 plug-in lamps on a single printed circuit board with a possibility of twelve independent stimulus pairs. The standard colors provided include red, green, white, blue, orange, and yellow. Other colors may be generated by mixing the above.

Again, this unit includes the basic pecking key (ENV-123AM). In this unit a twelve cell, in-line projector replaces the stimulus lights. This projector provides for seven shapes (triangle, circle, square, cross, vertical bar, horizontal bar, and plus sign), and five colors (red, green, blue, yellow, white). This image size is 0.31" (7.9 mm) across.

To order a key without any stimulus provision, order either the opaque key (shown), which uses the same white plastic key as the ENV-123AM or ENV-124AM, or the clear key, which uses the same clear plastic key as the ENV-130M. Both keys use a 1.0" (2.5 cm) opening with a 0.875" (2.2 cm) target area. All other specifications are identical to the ENV-123AM.
