The standard nose-poke operant is quickly becoming a staple fixture in rodent operant conditioning chambers.
However, many researchers feel that standard nose poke devices could be improved upon to provide more tactile feedback to facilitate the shaping and learning process.
With this limitation in mind Med Associates has listened to the needs of researchers in the field and developed the Rodent Nose Poke Response Keys. The action of pressing a key with the snout provides distinct force-related tactile feedback not offered by standard nose pokes.
Similar in design to our classic line of pigeon response keys (ENV-123, e.g.), the Rodent Response Keys feature an opaque plastic response key that can be backlit to provide enhanced visual cues.
