Extra Thick Response Levers

ENV-116M Gerbrands Style Extra Thick Response Lever

ENV-116M
Gerbrands Style Extra Thick Response Lever

This unit is supplied on a 1/4 size rat modular panel and is designed to imitate the original Gerbrands lever in all aspects relevant to the animal. The paddle is 0.5" (1.3 cm) thick. The end is rounded and smooth and it is thick enough and hard enough to discourage chewing and biting. Weights are added to the back of the lever to produce a lever resistance of approximately 35 grams.

Dimensions:
Panel: 3.0" W x 3.25" H (7.6 cm x 8.3 cm)
Lever: 1.88" W x 1.06" D (4.8 cm x 2.7 cm)

Retractable Extra Thick Response Lever

ENV-116RM
Retractable Extra Thick Response Lever

This retractable lever features a paddle that is 0.5" (1.3 cm) thick and protrudes 0.75" (1.9 cm) into the chamber when extended. The cycle time of this unit is 700 ms. The thick paddle is rounded and hard to discourage the animals from chewing on the paddle. The tension is factory set to 25 grams but may be adjusted from
15 to 100 grams. This lever is mounted on a 1/2 size rat modular panel.

Dimensions:
Panel: 3.0" W x 6.5" H (7.6 cm x 16.5 cm)
Lever: 1.88" W x 1.06" D (4.8 cm x 2.7 cm)

Force Lever

ENV-118

ENV-118
Force Lever, 5–500 g

This specially designed lever allows one to completely define a lever response of 5-500 grams. User definitions include upper and lower thresholds, and minimum and maximum durations above upper threshold. This device requires an analog-to-digital converter (DIG-744), power supply (SG-506), assorted cables, and an unique software package (all sold separately). The complete system records all critical response parameters and provides a 28 V DC ground “response” when the defined parameters are met. This response signal is compatible with all Med Associates 28 V DC MED-PC® interface systems.
