This single channel package and the head entry detector are designed for thoseapplications requiring a single photobeam. This unit consists of a single opticalintegrated circuit sensor and infrared LED used in pulsed mode complete with a 28 V DC compatible amplifier housed in a plastic case. The source and detector can be separated up to 30.0" (76.2 cm). Multiple units in a common area are not recommended. For such applications, see the four channel I/R controller (ENV-253), or the sixteen channel I/R controller (ENV-256I).
