This single channel package and the head entry detector (ENV-254) are designed for those applications requiring a single photobeam. This unit consists of a single optical integrated circuit sensor and infrared LED used in pulsed mode complete with a 28 V DC compatible amplifier housed in a 1.75" x 2.75" x 2.0" (4.4 cm x 6.9 cm x 5.1 cm) plastic case. The source and detector can be separated up to 30.0" (76.2 cm). Note, multiple units in a common area are not recommended. For such applications, see ENV-253 or ENV-256I.
