Four Channel I/R Controller

This controller allows up to four pairs of source and detectors (ENV-253SD sold separately) to be placed in a common area. It may be used with any 28 V DC input card. It synchronizes a pulse stream emitted by each light source with the activation of each detector at a very fast rate. Pulsing the light produces a beam that is better focused and casts a sharper “shadow”. Synchronizing source and detector at very high speed functions as a continuous beam, without interference from adjacent beams.

8 Channel I/R Controller with Individual Sockets

This controller is similar to the four channel I/R controller (ENV-253) except that it has been expanded to either eight or sixteen channels and individual Molex® connectors provide convenient connection of each individual infrared light source and detector. This control is used with the TTL SuperPort™ input card (DIG-713A) for the fastest possible response time. Order a cable (SG-210TTL) to complete the connection between the controller and interface module. This unit is recommended for interfacing mazes, runways, conditioned place preference chambers, and multiple nose pokes to any MED-PC® behavioral test system.

Eight Channel I/R Control for Shuttle

This control was specifically designed for the photobeam shuttle box sensors (ENV-256-8S) used on modular shuttle boxes. Eight independent channels output on mini-Molex® connectors for input to standard SmartCtrl™ connection panels.
