Multi-Channel I/R Controllers

ENV-253
Four Channel I/R Controller
ENV-253
This controller allows up to four ENV-253SD source and detectors (sold separately) to be placed in a common area. It may be used with any 28 V DC input card. This controller is housed in a 4.0" x 2.878" x 1.5" (10.2 cm x 7.3 cm x 3.8 cm ) plastic case. It synchronizes a pulse stream emitted by each light source with the activation of each detector at a very fast rate. Pulsing the light produces a beam which is better focused and casts a sharper "shadow". Synchronizing source and detector at very high speed functions as a continuous beam, without interference from adjacent beams.

ENV-256I

ENV-256-I
16 Channel I/R Controller with Individual Sockets

This controller is similar to the ENV-253 except that it has been expanded to sixteen channels and individual Molex® connectors provide convenient connection of each ENV-253SD infrared light source and detector.  This control is used with the DIG-713A TTL SuperPort input card for the fastest possible response time.  Order SG-210TTL cable to complete the connection between the control and interface module.  This unit is recommended for interfacing mazes, runways, conditioned place preference chambers, multiple nose pokes, etc. to any MED-PC® or WMPC™ behavioral test system. An eight channel version (ENV-256I-8)is also available. Contact sales for more information.
