Operant Conditioning Behavior Test Packages
for Pigeon or Small Primate

The following test packages all feature our extra tall modular test chamber (ENV-007). These chambers are used for pigeon operant testing, but they are also suitable for operant testing for rats and small primates. Feel free to custom design a chamber configuration using any of these packages as a guide.

Behavioral Test Package for Pigeon

This package features the most popular components for a pigeon lab. This includes an expanded PVC sound attenuating cubicle, extra tall modular test chamber, three pecking keys (each with a three color stimulus), a response feedback clicker, a house light and a grain hopper for reinforcement. Order a MED-SYST-8 or MED-SYST-16 interface and software package separately to run up to eight or sixteen test stations, respectively.

Behavioral Test Package for Small Primate

This package is ideally suited to test small, free roaming primates. It includes two standard levers, two triple stimulus lights, and a 75 mg pellet dispenser with I/R sentry. For restraining small primates, refer to the modular primate test chair (ENV-601). Order a MED-SYST-8 or MED-SYST-16 interface and software package separately to run up to eight
or sixteen test stations, respectively.
