The following grid floor harnesses may be required to complete a lickometer package. Contact Med Associates if additional assistance is required.

ENV-005-QD Circuit Board Harness, Quick Disconnect

Applying scrambled foot aversive stimulation to a removable grid floor has never been easier. The connection block stays with the chamber, so that the floor may be removed for cleaning completely free of all wires, circuit boards, or other connections. The connection block consists of individual spring-loaded contacts mounted in a protective polypropylene strip and wired in sequence to a DB-9 connector. When the floor is installed, each rod presses firmly against a contact for reliable aversive stimulation delivery. Order the SG-219G-10 aversive stimulation output cable separately. Note, this harness will not work with older floors that have been drilled and tapped to receive the ENV-005CB circuit board harness.

Quick Disconnect Harness for ENV-005A

This harness is used with all ENV-008 or ENV-007 modular test chambers fitted with a mouse grid floor. The DB-9 cable going from the harness to a grid floor scrambler or from the harness to a lickometer circuit must be ordered separately.

ENV-307W-QD
Quick Disconnect Harness for ENV-307GW

This unit is identical to the ENV-005-QD quick disconnect unit except that the grid rod size, number, and spacing is compatible with the ENV-307W modular mouse chamber. Use the SG-219G-10 aversive stimulation output cable to complete the connection from the DB-9 socket on this unit to the output of an appropriate scrambler or aversive stimulator/scrambler. Use the SG-219G2 to connect to standard contact lickometers and the SG-219G to connect to switching lickometers. Cables sold separately.
