Patented Quick Disconnect Harness for ENV-005

Applying scrambled foot aversive stimulation to a removable grid floor has never been easier. The connection block stays with the chamber, so that the floor may be removed for cleaning completely free of all wires, circuit boards, or other connections. The connection block consists of individual spring-loaded contacts mounted in a protective polypropylene strip and wired in sequence to a DB-9 connector. When the floor is installed, each rod presses firmly against a contact for reliable aversive stimulation delivery. The DB-9 cable (SG-219G-10) going from the harness to a grid floor scrambler or from the harness to a lickometer circuit (SG-219G) must be ordered separately.+

This quick disconnect harness is used with all 008 or 007 series modular test chambers fitted with a mouse grid floor (ENV-005A). These quick disconnect harnesses are designed for use with the 307 series modular mouse chambers. The DB-9 cable (SG-219G-10) going from the harness to a grid floor scrambler or from the harness to a lickometer circuit (SG-219G) must be ordered separately.+

Special Note: Use the aversive stimulation output cable (SG-219G-10) to complete the connection from the DB-9 socket on these units to the output of an appropriate scrambler or aversive stimulator. Use a cable (SG-219G2) to connect to standard contact lickometers and the cable (SG-219G) to connect to switching lickometers. Cables sold separately.
