Switchable Liquid Dipper for Rat
This modular unit has been redesigned so that it can be operated in the normally down or normally up position, and features a 2.0" x 2.0" (5.1 cm x 5.1 cm) receptacle opening. A motor driven dipper arm raises a precise cup to deliver liquids from water to highly viscous fluids such as condensed milk. Arm movement is smooth and consistent. In the normally down position the arm remains up only as long as power is applied. This unit is preferred if the availability of the reinforcer is time limited once earned. In the normally up position the arm remains in the up position until activated by a 28 V DC control line. This unit fills the cup with a short pulse. It remains available for an unlimited time period. A 0.01 cc cup is included. Cup sizes up to 0.5 cc are available. Add head entry detection (ENV-254-CB), and a receptacle light (ENV-200RL) if needed. It is mounted on a 1/2 size rat modular panel.

This modular unit has been redesigned so that it can be operated in the normally down or normally up position. In the normally down position the arm remains up only as long as power is applied. In the normally up position the arm remains in the up position until activated by a 28 V DC control line. The receptacle hole has been designed to better accommodate mice with a round access opening that measures 0.878" (2.2 cm) diameter by 0.4375" (1.1 cm) deep. The cup is presented to the animal as close to the front panel as possible. Included is a 0.01 cc cup. Cup sizes up to 0.1 cc are available. Add head entry detection (ENV-302HD), and a receptacle light (ENV-302RL-1) if needed. It is mounted on a 1/2 size rat modular panel.

This oversized 0.5 cc cup is available for use with rat dippers only. This cup must be specified at the time the dipper is purchased as it requires a modified receptacle.
