Small Modular Primate Test Chair
This modular test chair is designed for small primates. The front panel consists of three modular channels that can hold any modular test chamber component such as a speaker, white noise tone generator, house light, or clicker, as well as modules designed specifically for primates such as levers, stimulus lights, dispensers, and receptacles. The walls and waist plate are made of 0.375" (1.0 cm) clear polycarbonate, while the door is 0.22" (0.6 cm) clear polycarbonate. The animal seat is aluminum rod and the waste pan is stainless steel. The area under the table may be accessed for tail aversive stimulation electrodes or catheters through an open area below the door or through a 4.0" (10.2 cm) diameter hole in the lower rear wall. Above the waist plate, the entire back is open for easy access to drug lines for drug self administration. This area can be blocked during testing with a clear movable partition that may be placed as needed and secured with a variety of clamps (not included).
