This chamber represents the latest and preferred design for all mouse operant testing. The chamber dimensions are 8.5" L x 7" W x 5" H (21.6 cm x 17.8 cm x 12.7 cm). The durable and easily cleaned base is 0.5" (1.3 cm) thick white polypropylene and measures 21" L x 13.75" D (53.3 cm x 34.9 cm). The front, back, and top are constructed of 0.22" (5.6 mm) polycarbonate. The front loading door of this unit folds down, leaving an extra high lip to restrain the animal until removed. The ENV-307W is pictured with a stainless steel pan, included with the base chamber and an ENV-307W-GF grid floor, which must be ordered separately. Filler panels are supplied free of charge with initial orders, provided that a minimum number of accessories are also ordered. Use this chamber with the ENV-022V or ENV-022M sound attenuating cubicle.
ENV-307W-GF Modular Mouse Grid Floor - Wide (see below for ENV-307A floor)
This stainless steel grid floor features twenty-five 0.125" (3.2 mm) rods, placed on 0.31" (7.9 mm) centers, mounted in removable polypropylene supports. Order additional floors to simplify routine cleaning and maintenance. Filler panels are used to close those spaces not occupied by chamber components on the modular test chamber. A generic ENV-307W-FP package is required with all initial orders of modular test chambers. This includes full panels of assorted sizes as needed and may be supplied at no cost depending on the number of accessories ordered at the same time.
