Classic Mouse Operant Conditioning Chamber

Re-introduction of the Classic Mouse Operant Conditioning Chamber

MED Associates is pleased to re-introduce our classic mouse operant conditioning chamber. This size was first proposed by Galen Wenger and Peter Dews. An advantage of this size over our other chamber sizes is the smaller area provides less distractions for the mouse thus improving shaping and performance.

ENV-307A
Modular Mouse Operant Conditioning Chamber

This modular mouse chamber features three 1.5” (38.1 mm) wide channels on both end walls for easy and convenient placement of any mouse accessory, including nose pokes, ultra-sensitive standard levers, stimulus modules, and reinforcement devices. Spacer panels are available to fill unused spaces and may be used to reposition accessories as needed. These panels are available in several sizes: full panel 7.0” (17.8 cm), half panel 3.5” (8.9 cm), and quarter panel 1.75” (4.4 cm).

The cage unit is mounted on a durable, easily cleaned 0.50” (1.3 cm) white polypropylene base that measures 16.0” x 11.5” (40.6 cm x 29.2 cm). The front, back, and top are constructed of 0.22” (5.6 mm) polycarbonate. The animal work space measures 6.25”L x 5.5”W x 5.0”H (15.9 cm x 14.0 cm x 12.7 cm).
