Thess complete test packages include everything needed to measure home cage activity, including four or eight cages and load cell platforms. This unique measure of activity picks up activity components not necessarily detected by I/R beam systems. This may be used in place of or in addition to those systems. Custom packages are also available.

Home Cage Platform, Load Cell and Amplifier

A precision linear load cell transducer is connected to an adjustable gain amplifier with filters specifically selected to maximize the detection of movement within a standard plastic home cage. The top of the platform measures 9.0" x 9.0" (22.9 cm x 22.9 cm). Shown with a typical home cage (sold separately).

Home Cage Platform, Load Cell and Amplifier

This unit is identical to the PHM-252A-60 with a 50 Hz notch filter for use in systems running on 220 Volts AC, 50 Hz.
