5th Annual Vermont Genetics Network (VGN) Career Day

      

 

Gerry Herrera, PhD, Med Associates Vice President of Research and Development, was a panelist at the 5th Annual VGN Career Day. Undergraduate students funded by VGN for INBRE project year one academic year presented posters describing their research projects.

Gerry Herrera, PhD, Med Associates Vice President of Research and Development, presented a talk "Mapping the Gastrointestinal Tract: Novel Imaging Techniques Reveal Patterns in Gut Motility" at the 2006 Meeting of the Behavioral Pharmacology Society. (BPS).

Med Associates sponsored the 2006 Behavioral Pharmacology Meeting.


  Vermont State Science and Math Fair

Med Associates Inc. supports the Vermont State Science and Math Fair ISEF Award. The ISEF Award provides funds to the two top Vermont Science and Math Fair students from grades 9-12 and their teachers so they can attend the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF). American Psychological Association Division 25—Behavior Analysis
The Med Associates Distinguished Contribution to Basic Behavior Analysis Award

Joseph V. Brady, PhD, received the American Psychological Association Division 25 Med Associates Basic Science Award in 2003.

 

Dr. Brady was presented with the first Med Associates' Operant Chamber (The Brady Box) that is based on Brady's Third Law of always giving the customer what they want. Med Associates is know to always follow this law. The Brady Box is based on a story told by Dr. Brady of using a blue light to turn a white suit blue. The Brady Box can be used to study different color mice by putting a white mouse into the chamber and turning on an appropriate light.
