Responsibilities:
Med Associates seeks an Entry Level Inside Sales And Support Associate for its sales department. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Fielding customer calls
Assist in processing customer orders
Providing support to our customers
Preparing correspondence, reports, and documentation
Preparing sales proposals
Keep all sales files and documents organized
Completing special projects and other duties assigned
Interacts productively with all levels of professional staff
Flexibility for travel
Requirements:
A high school diploma and a minimum of three (3) years sales experience. A Bachelors or Associates degree in a related field would be a plus.
The successful candidate must be a motivated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, good attention to detail, be able to work independently and or with a cross functional group, and maintain good work attendance. Strong word processing, spreadsheet, and database software skills are essential.

Engineering Manager
Catamount Research and Development seeks to hire a qualified candidate as our Engineering Manager. Catamount Research and Development is a private family-owned company devoted to supplying quality products for physiology, pharmacology, neuroscience, and related research and teaching areas. Catamount R&D specializes in conducting preclinical research studies, and in providing engineering and product development services for the biomedical research community. We also contribute the major product design, development, and support efforts for our related family-owned business Med Associates, Inc.

Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating communication and work flow among our company’s major engineering divisions: Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
The position reports directly to the President, and will serve as the President’s Assistant to ensure engineering, research, and development priorities and objectives are clear and implemented. The individual will also be responsible for overseeing Customer Support Activities, and ensuring that customer needs are met and addressed, and that customer support staff receive adequate engineering support when required.
Also serves to coordinate engineering efforts with sales and marketing staff and manufacturing.
The Engineering Manager will work with engineering teams on architecture and detailed technical design, including: designing schematics, implementation direction/advice, performing code review, overseeing peer review, and ensuring adequate testing throughout the design process, up to product release.
After product release, the Engineering Manager will integrate feedback from manufacturing, sales, marketing, and customer support to improve and refine existing products.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing project objectives and timelines.
The successful candidate should also be able to handle added responsibilities and tasks as necessary.
The flexibility to accommodate some work-related travel is also important, however this position is primarily on-site.
General Qualifications:

Technical Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science, engineering, technical, or science-related discipline. MBA is a plus.
Knowledge of current state-of-the-art in computer programming languages, 2-D and 3-D mechanical design tools, electronic circuit design tools, and CAD/CAM software/hardware is essential.
At least 5 years experience, including experience as a manager.
Familiarity in the areas of neuroscience, physiology, pharmacology, biology, experimental psychology, behavioral psychology, or toxicology a plus.
