History

In May of 1993, Med Associates consolidated its operations and relocated from East Fairfield, Vermont to the Georgia Regional Industrial Park in Georgia, Vermont. This facility provided 7,000 sq. ft. of new office and assembly space, plus 2,900 square feet of storage space to house the current staff and product line. This new facility allowed for growth to a staff of 40 employees and the addition of new instrumentation and software for research product lines. By 1996 however, the increasing demand for Med Associates' hardware and software mandated that we expand our facilities again. |
In August of 1997 a 12,000 sq. ft. addition was constructed to meet growing customer needs. This addition housed the machine shop, cabinet-making shop, closed raw stock, also finished product storage, shipping and receiving, final assembly and test operations. By May of 1998, it was obvious that even more space was required to keep up with demand and in December of 1998, a 4,000 sq. ft. mezzanine was added for a total of 26,000 sq. ft. of space. |
